Anthony Buford (b.1993) artistic practice is rooted in creating an archive of black identity that isn’t always reflected, by weaving the authentic portrayal of our identities with imaginative presentations that reveal how we unapologetically see ourselves. With photography being the center of his practice, he’s continuing to expand his visual realm by naturally allowing research, archival material, collages and other disciplines to further shape his artistry practice.
