a visual love story.

We deserve love stories, too

by ANTHNY

dear collaborator,

The following is a mood board that explores my vision for “We Deserve Love Stories Too”, the on-going photo series that focus on highlighting various black queer couples.
The goal of this mood board is to allow you to view my ideas, as my muse, and form an understanding, visually, prior to shooting. Your vision, as well, should align with my style of shooting presented.
As a black and queer portrait photographer who work centers around blackness, it’s important to me that every shoot has pure representation that’s identical to the couple in frame and black-queer culture. I am aiming to create stories that is both timeless and tasteful to showcase across social media and exhibitions to the 18+ queer community.
